If your pet has gone to the bathroom on the carpet in your living room, or anywhere in your house, what do you use to clean it up? I'm looking for ideas on products that not only clean up the mess, but do not leave a scent or residue behind, or leave the spot still smelling like animal excrement. Sorry for the graphic detail there, but there you are. lol
there used to be this stuff advertised on the radio called spill magic. I don't know how well it works but it sounded cool!
From what I remember it came as a powder and when you sprinkled it on a wett spot it turned the hole mess in to a bunch of little pellits
I'll put a plastic bag over one hand and then use that hand to figure out where the mess is. if possible I'll collect what I can using the bag, then turn it inside out to contain the mess and dispose of it. After I know where it is and the size I'll use a product called Resolve to clean it. If you get this, find the foam. This will make a sort of fizzing sound as it interacts chemically and breaks down the waste. After the sound stops, I'll wipe up whatever remains and vacuum if necessary.
Nature's Miracle is a really awesome product that gets rid of stains and odor caused by pet accidents.
Nature's Miracle can be found at any pet store? I have heard of that one, actually.
I thought Nature's Miracle was a cat litter. Hmmm, maybe I'm thinking of something made by the same company, only different product. Maybe Nature's Miracle is justa brand name. And I use the same method, and even the same carpet cleaner, as Chris N. Hooray for Resolve. LOL.
Just train 'em to go outside (but prefferably not, on my dear mother's patio area if you want to see your cat alive again, lol.
Jen.
Yeah, you can find it at any pet store. If your dog poops on the carpet, you can also use a putty knife, at least that's what someone told me. Don't know how true it is though.
How would that work?
